Handpull cask at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Dark, muddy gold with a tiny film of white head. Some citrus notes - pomelo, lemon balm - with a fresh grassy character. Taste is sweet with a waxy citrus note and slight spice. Bitterness closer to the finish. Actually quite intensely bitter without becoming astringent or otherwise imbalance. Interesting and simple. Good beer to start the evening with!
