Bottle bought at the St. Ives 'Booze on the Ouse' beer festival, 2017. Pours very slightly hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of malt, hop, caramel and light fruit with touch of floral notes and grass. Moderate sweetness and quite heavy bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation.

Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London. Thanks to Chris, ultimate purveyor of random UK beers of dubious quality. Pours clear gold with a light, white cream head. Pale, bready malt nose with hints of grass. Light sweet flavor with nips of lemony citrus and white bread. Light bodied with average carbonation. Boring finish, some more pale malts and light hay. Bland.

Bottle 568ml. @ ChrisO Snow Tasting.Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, light caramel, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130120]

Bottle at Chriso Snow Tasting, thanks to Chris, 20/01/13. Lightly hazed mid golden, very thin off white head. Nose is light piss, fruits, slightly sour. Taste follows, fruits, honey, sugars, a bit on the bland side. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, some bitterness in the dry finish. File under โWโ !
