Sweet and boozy, roasty, really dry. Coffee and chocolate, no sign of barrel. Wouldn't say it's gone bad in any way but likely seen its best days. Still pretty nice though.

Sample at Kurtkeller 023: Firestone Walker-tastic 01 on 06/18/2016. This Stout is an inky black color with a medium tan head that evaporates slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of burnt malt, dark chocolate and oak. Rich body with flavors of roasted malt, molasses, caramel and coffee. The finish is roasty and chocolatey with a lingering bourbon aftertaste. Really solid brew overall.
