(Bottle, 0.5 l - 2013 version - BB 200914, at Hilpeä Hauki, 20131203) The beer poured deep dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had spices, malts and caramell. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were spices, roasted malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy and bitter. A too spicy gimmick brew.

Vintage 2012. Choć bez osadu drozdzowego faktycznie przypomina belgijskie dubble. Karmelowe, slodowe i rozgrzewajace. Aromatyczne ze spora gruboziarnista piana jest ciekawe. kolor koloru brazu ciemnego. Rocznikowane, moze skromna etykieta ale kryje sie za tym wyraziste piwo rodem z Danii

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a reddish brown with an off-white head. Phenols dominate the nose with some overripe fruit underneath. Medium body, heavy on the yeast and phenols in a not so pleasant way. Quite some hops in the finish. 271212

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, spices, and bread, leading to a dry bitter finish.

50 cl. bottle poured in to a trappist glass. Dark brown colour with a medium sized, bubbly tan head. Sweet and malty aroma with caramel, dark dried fruits, some toasted bread and brown sugar. Faint notes of tobacco. Medium sweetness, medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation. Finishes slightly bitter with dark fruits and a toasted note. Nothing special, but good value for your allowance.

Bottle. Pours dark brown - almost black - with small light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, faint hints of dark dried fruits and sweet Dutch licorice drops. Taste is initial light sweet then medium bitter. Body is light oily with good carbonation. Finish is medium long and bittersweet with notes of caramel, hazel- and walnuts, licorice, coffee and port wine. Don’t serve too cold.
