330mL bottle, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt, some iodine, and a hint of coffee. Flavour is nicely roasted, with a pleasant roasted malt character and a tiny hint of earthiness. Nice roasted character but the palate is on the thinner side. Pleasant.

Poured from bottle brown with a light tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel. Taste follows more like a thin porter or nut brown ale. --- Beer merged from original tick of Negra (Imperial Stout) on 07 Sep 2019 at 15:38 - Score: 6. Original review text: Roasted notes, slightly thin, mild caramel.

Bottle carried back from Chili by Stacey. Dark brown in color. Flavor is nutty, charred malt, a tad caramel like. Mouthfeel is more medium like a brown ale. Maybe a stout in Chili but not America.

330ml bottle [thanks again to Grumbo for this one and the whole ensemble!]. Darkest brown colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, some coffee, minimally bready, spicy overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately dark malty, slightly roasty, notes of dark chocolate, milk chocolate, some cocoa, a touch of coffee, some caramel, cautious fruity hoppy overtones with a touch of plum. Rather light, clean, easy drinkable.

19/1/2019. Bottle from the shop at the entrance to Punta Arenas passenger terminal and shared at the second Kesgrave 50/50 bottle share. Pours very dark brown with a frothy beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruit, sweet toffee, coffee and a hint of liquorice. Medium sweetness with moderate bitterness. Medium to full bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation. Sweet, chocolate finish. Very drinkable.
