750 ml shared by Chalumeaux, thanks TJ!! From the Catador Club. Body is thick and velvety. Flavor is dark chocolate, vanilla, with a lasting Jameson finish. Doesn’t have the alcohol flavor. It is hidden. Damn!! Wonderful!

Bottle pour shared by Chalumeaux--thanks, TJ! Appearance is opaque black with no sparkle, nice viscosity, light brown ring of head with decent retention and no lacing. Aroma is nice, balanced mix of roasted malt and whiskey, mild chocolate. Taste is rich roasted malt, chocolate, fruit, whiskey, milder vanilla. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick, silky smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, this is unbelievably rich while still being balanced. No trace of alcohol. Wonderful dessert sipper.

Bottle courtesy of the El Catador crew. Black with a small light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, wood and whisky. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily and soft. 070119
