Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, röstmalzig, Karamell, dunkle Früchte. Geschmack hefig, würzig malzig, dunkle Früchte.

Brown colour. The cloves come out, not the banana, the sweetness of the dunkel makes it drinkable.

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top @ home.Murky matt medium grey amber colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light wheat, moderate yeasty, fruity, phenol, metalic, brown sugar, yeast. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet sugary caramel, sweet fruit, yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121224]

Bottled, from biershop-bayern.de Cloudy amber/brown, brief head. Fruity nose with some banana. Sweetish with light-medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Slight spicy hops, mild banana. Low bitterness.

Bottle:Light amber coloured, cloudy, lacy off-white head, sweetish-toasty and fruity nose; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied, both soft and a bit fizzy; sweet wheat-malty finish with a slight bitterness in the aftertaste. A nice one...

500ml bottle. Cloudy amber with standard white Hefeweizen-head. Nice fruity aroma with an apple touch, slightly yeasty and spicy. Taste gains a bigger fruit deal, supplemented by fizzy carbonation, later an unpleasant slightly muggy note flashes up shortly. A Dunkelweizen with a developing taste, real character and the potential to a top ranking in case of minimally increased intensity and elimination of this disruptive note.

Bottled. (thanks Timo A!). Deep amber colour, small white head. Aroma is mild banana, some grass, herbs and mild sweet malts and raisins. Flavour is quite much the same with a big aftertaste of something sweet as well.
