Thanks Brian, aroma is quite funky. Taste is red wine in the finish. Not bad but wonder what it would be like fresher.

Hot and not nearly as smooth as the 2014.Still has dark fruity notes but it has picked up a weird bitterness.

2009 bottle. The beer is a copper-brown color with a thin light beige head that dissipates quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of oaky bourbon, caramel and citrus. Rich body with an ever-present oak character and flavors of caramel malt, citrus and touches of vanilla and dark fruit. The finish is malty with a lingering citrus and mild hop aftertaste. Enjoyable beer all around.
