A GOOD HEAD IS ESSENTIAL.
Especially when it comes to stout. We use nitrogen bubbles to give our Ink Stout its thick, creamy head and smooth finish. And without getting all big headed, we think it’s the finest stout in the land. Loaded with roast and bitter dark chocolate, dark fruits, a rich and smooth body with linger dry finish.
Stout was born in london in the 18th century, but while the black stuff was made famous in ireland, it declined in popularity in the capital, until now. This changes everything and stout has never tasted so good.

Aroma: Vanilla, roasted malt and milk chocolate.
Appearance: Black body with a thick tan head. Nice lacing.
Taste: Light smoke, chocolate and tangy raisin. Very smooth and balanced.
Palate: Medium body with a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Light carbonation.
Overall: A mild, tasty Dry Stout.

Draught @ Euston Tap, 190 Euston Road, London, Greater London, England NW1 2EF.Dark black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120803]

Fra fat på Craft Beer Co, Brixton 4 Nov 12. Svart. Lavt, litt farget skum som fester seg til glasset som prikker. Kaffearoma med innslag av sjokolade. Smaken tørr sjokolade. Uspennende.

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Islington, London. A black coloured pour with a small white head that vanishes quite quickly. Roasty, malty aroma. Tastes roasty, malty, some coffee and chocolate in there. Decent stout from Camden Town.

Served chilled (a bit too far) from tap at Craft Beer Co in Brixton, half-pint shared with Finn. Tiny layer blanketing the glass. Jet black body. Semi-sweet malty nose, notes of coffee and earth. Taste of earthy malts slightly roasted and mid-sweet. Creamy in the mouth. Decent stout (London, 04.11.2012).

Draught at O’Connor’s, Uppsala. Black, nid sized head. Evident licorice aroma. Dryish with light body and clean har mouthfeel. Some tar and coffee. Resiny finish. Shallow and unimpressive.

Tap at Craft Brixton - 28/09/12. Inky black with a very small head that soon clears. A little roast malt on the nose, touch of chocolate. Taste follows, touch of coffee and licquorice. Medium bodied with a smooth finish. Drinkable stuff, not too exciting though!

Draught (Stockholm Beer Festival 2012) - Black with a tan head. Coffee, roasted malt and chocolate in the aroma. Coffee, roasted malt and chocolate also feature in the smooth taste.

Draught@Duke’s, London. Very deep ambery black colour with a small beige creamy longlasting and lacing head. Aroma is roasted malts, some caramel and mild rubbery notes. Flavour is caramel, roasted malts, liuoqirce and burnt wet wooden notes as well. Big big wet burnt wooden notes in the aftertaste.
