Bottle from Bombers Beverage Company, Wilmington, North Carolina. Golden with a thin head. Strong tasting with some stewed tropical fruitiness, but without much character, although it gets better in its aftertaste.

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is decently hopped with some sweet caramel malt. Flavor is a minor hop with a large and heavy malt presence. It’s not as sweet as I thought it was going to be but also not as hoppy as I thought it was going to be. Finish is again more earthy malt with a minor hop in the back round. One of these IPA’s that is way too malty for my liking.

From a bottle courtesy of Travlr. Thanks! Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Grassy nose. Flavors of alfalfa and citrus. Bitter finish.

Update 12/7/17: From a bottle. This one is a hazy, rather than clear, pour. Still intensely bitter with dank hay flavors.

Bottle 65 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a lacing off-white head. Very juicy, citrusy aroma. Very soft on the palate with a carbonation at the low end. Body comes out a little thin - I could’ve thought this to be only 5-6%. But the malts are really not the focus here, it’s all about the hops and they are crisp, juicy and super delicious. Yet the beer is still fairly easy drinking with a not overly bitter finish. 300615

Sample at Bad Parenting Club (plus a few dirty aunt/uncles?!): NC Beer Edition on 03/28/2015. This brew is a slightly hazy orange-gold color with a medium off-white head that recedes gradually. Stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of citrus, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of fruity hops, roast malt and a bit of pine. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Location: Bottle shared at Max and Andy's Tasting, 2/28/15

Aroma: It has an alright aroma of slightly stale hops and a little caramel
Appearance: The pour is orange with a small beige head
Flavor: Flavor-wise, again, a little stale from a hop perspective, with a caramel sweetness
Palate: Decent mouthfeel, not super dry from a finish perspective
Overall Impression: Not sure how old this bottle was, but the hops tasted a little stale. Would like to rate this again to see if its the bottle or the beer.
