Cask (gravity) @ 28th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2011, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England.Clear light to medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good, mostly lasting to diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, vomit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, citrus, grapefruit peel bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Pigs Ear. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Light dry palate, a bit too dry. Nice rich marmalade hops but an unwelcome sulphur streak mars things. Dry finish.
