(On tap) Deep Brown with big cream coloured head. Pleasant aroma with hints of chocolate. Creamy smooth with fine bright carbonation. Taste is good - rich, some malty sweetness and chocolate notes. Very nice.

From a 330ml bottle on 28/12/2018. Pours a deep brown with not much of a head. The aroma is milk chocolate with a hint of coconut. The flavour is primarily milk chocolate, again with a hint of coconut in the background. It finishes with a medium roasty bitterness. I don't get any of the coffee. Light to medium body and slightly over-carbed. Just okay.

Schooner on tap at Club Rivers, Riverwood. Treacle brown colour with a thin white head. Nose is milk chocolate with a touch of cocoa. Good lacing, slightly effervescent with initial bitter coffee notes. Finish is more milk coffee with a very very faint hint of coconut. Really if you drank this blind you would say 'nice coffee porter', the coconut is ephemeral. Still, nice porter!
