Cask at King’s Head, Aylesbury. Dark ruby. Fruity nose with some burnt caramel. Mid sweet with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Dry with crême brulée flavours. Lightly bitter finish.

Taster at the Chiltern Brewery, Terrick, Bucks, 01.12.11 Pours brown, actually o reflection it is as the description suggests and is chestnut in colour. Some nuttiness and quite woody, slight rustic simple qualities but this isn’t to take anything anything away from this beer. The finish is very dry, liked this. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
