Our third and final anniversary ale - rich, full bodied and characterful, with a dark ruby hue, roast malts and a balanced nose provided by the Brewer’s selection of English choice hops. Lovely on a cold winter’s evening.

Taster at the Chiltern Brewery, Terrick, Bucks, 01.12.11 Pours brown, actually o reflection it is as the description suggests and is chestnut in colour. Some nuttiness and quite woody, slight rustic simple qualities but this isn’t to take anything anything away from this beer. The finish is very dry, liked this. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
