Carnival is our big, bubbly and vivacious mashup of our favourite tropical hops. Oodles of pineapple, passionfruit and mango are squished together for a 4.4% mega juiced and super hazy session slider that packs all the punch of a big-hitting DIPA. Hops are El Dorado, Azacca and Zappa.

Draft at the Lewes brewery taproom. Poured a murky light golden brown with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, yeasty, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, somewhat rich, earthy, herbal, yeasty. dry spicy hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. I’m kinda thinking there was something wrong with this. Another guy complained while I was here and it looked nothing like other examples posted on UT. Most likely a keg too far at the brewery!

Can. A medium haze on this yellowish gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a very mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Nice fluffy pale malts, sweet but not overly so. A nice hop combo this, just could do with more of all of them. The El Dorado floral nature seems most obvious with a very mild Azacca citrus in the mid. Just a bare whisper of the bonkers Zappa hop, touch of Skittles on the light finish. Very solid brew, just up the hop intensity and it could be in the top division.
