(330 ml Bottle) Extraordinary looking beer - hazy very dark pink with huge fluffy pink head. Fruity aroma - slightly sour berries with hints of light malt and spice. Light body and very well carbonated, almost champagne-like although coarser bubbles. Starts with a nice balance of tart fruitiness (blueberries clearly with maybe a hint of sour cherry) and subtle fruit sweetness. The finish is quite unexpected as it rapidly develops a little pleasant bitterness and some slight astringency. Overall an unusual fruit beer with quite a bit of character and class. Whilst this is fruit driven and the taste is true to the blueberries, this is definitely not some sweet fruity alcopop. Well worth a try if you like fruit beers.
