Son nom a été tiré de sa langue d'origine : l'alsacien. "Girig" signifie boire avec envie. La Blanche STORIG, à la vertu désaltérante, déploie sa légèreté par des arômes fruités et épicés (coriandre et poivre). (ABV - 4.5 - 5.5%)

On tap the at the brewpub. 21/07/2015 two days after the Etape du Tour. Hazed / golden yellow coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroa is wheat and heather, light honey and stale grains, subdued. Flavour is composed of light wheat grains, spicy hop, doughy grains. Pretty ordinary, not much to it. Palate is thin, chalky, grainy, mod / high carbonation.

13/11 A 0.65 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured hazy pale yellow body with medium sized head. Very aromatic, cloves, chalky, smooth wheat scents. Flavor was a different story, pleasant and fruity, decent wheat and elder notes, but very weak and watery. Its thinner body could only ensure short finish. Weird and although I did not find aroma offensive, just the opposite, I didn’t like this wit much.

Bottled 650ml. -found at Kohler Rehm, Strasbourg, France. Shared with Marko and heavy. Cloudy yellow coloured, small white head, dry coriander nose. Milky coriander taste; quite strong and unpleasant. Odd and different than other similar wit beers but unfortunately on wrong side.

Whee, really glad I could try something from this brewery. Anyway, poured a slightly hazy pale yellow-golden body with a tiny white head. Plastc & agrumes in the nose, quite strange. Creamy coriander attack in the taste, sweet, slightly citrusy. The taste beats the nose by a huge margin, but it’s still... odd.

bottle, Village de la Bière Strasbourg. Cloudy pale yellow, enormous fluffy white head. Very lively carbonation. Malty, wheaty and yeasty with hints of lemon, coriander and clove. A nice one, except for the extremely high carbonation.

Bottle. Lemon and coriander aroma. Pale yellow with large head and violent effervescense. Very dry lemon and wheat malt flavor - high acidity and carbonation - very champagne-like. Very nice.
