Pretty much a clear rose gold beer with a good cream colour bubbly head. Nose is a lovely generic fruitiness with a whisper of a lambic like edge. Palate is airy and slightly soft, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. The Jester hops bring a fruitiness that pretty much follows the nose. Rich and slightly jammy fruits that are hard to pick apart, certainly some ripe orchard fruits in there. Overripe tangerine and a touch of crystallised fruits. All this ripeness offset by that vague edge that is even more subtly lambic in character than it is on the snout. Light finish. Really enjoyed this one, smooth and easy drinking and a great exploration of the delights of Jester hops.
