Helder licht goudgeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig met iets van gras en wat graan. De prettig licht bittere nasmaak blijft wel vrij lang hangen.

500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, dense, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, snow white head. Slightly floral, minimally herbal, fruity and citrusy, hoppy aroma, rather neutral, minimally grainy-spicy, pale malty background, hints of nettle, a touch of lemon balm, whiffs of lemon peel and white grapes, chamomile. Taste is mildly bitter, herbal, floral and minimally fruity hoppy as well as slightly spicy, minimally biscuity, pale malty with low residual sweetness, hints of nettle, a touch of white grapes, grape sugar, chamomile. Oily-watery texture, smooth ans soft palate, fine, soft, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, very clean, some nice subtleties - good!

Herbsthäuser Edel-Pils, Flasche von REWE, Mergentheim. - Goldgelb, blank; handelsüblicher Schaum. - Nase matt süßlich-hellmalzig mit sehr matter Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk süßsäuerlich hellmalzig mit dumpf zitrusfruchtiger, zart schwefeliger Hopfenherbe, schroffe Zitronenschale. Durchschnittlich rezent. Im Abgang derbe, stumpfe Bittere. Schwach ranziger Nachtrunk. - Eine Spur besser, da aromatischer gehopft als das (gleichzeitig verkostete) Dörzbacher Edel-Pils aus der Nachbarschaft; allerdings war die Flasche - nach dem MHD zu urteilen - auch sechs Wochen frischer.

Vielen Dank an kevnic2008! Klare goldene Farbe, ordentliche weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, würzig hopfig, etwas Getreide. Geschmack grasig hopfig, floral, malzig, ganz ok!

Thanks to kevnic2008 for that one! Bottle looks very simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Light hoppy notes. Finish well balanced, a bit boring. Okay.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, herbs, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, grass - silage, malty, sharp hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130104]

Bottle @ Late Night Fonefan/Brugmansia Tasting, January 2013. Pours clear yellow with a white head. Grain, grass and mild sulphur. Smooth and dry. Clean and quite fresh.
