330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with firm, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Piney hoppy aroma with a touch of orange, orange biscuit. Taste is initially piney hoppy with a fruity touch of orange, minimally sweet caramel malty basis, hints of orange biscuit, later more and more dry to bitter hoppy and less fruity.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger, served cold. ABV is 5.8%. Deep golden colour, slightly hazy. Huge white head. Aroma of fruity hops (mixed tropical fruits), some woody notes too. Fruity and resinous hops (American, Aussie and NZ) in the flavour, on a background of medium sweet malts. Fairly bitter finish.

Fra (for varm?) flaske på Cardinaltreff sep-13: førsteinntrykket er lite flatterende, den oppleves som tynn og besk, men det kan ha noe med serveringstemperaturen å gjøre. Bryggeriets hjemmeside sier "Generally, in Azimuth, we use a blend of Cascade, Centennial, Galaxy, Citra, Pacific Jade and Wakatu." Jeg finner ingenting av "flavours of paech and apricot skins and a hint of caramel, honeysuckle and spring gorse flowers" slik de skryter av på etiketten. Dog et snev av karamell. Må prøves igjen.

Bottle from Tomlinson’s Beer Shop, Inverness [260713]
Orange amber, hazy, frothy bubbly white head
Nose of sweet citrus fruits, slight pineapple, mango, tropical fruits, lots of citrus , nice sweet fruity malts
Taste as aroma, mainly orange and apricot, some tangerine, bit of grapefruit pith, touch floral, well blended, great flavour for abv
Palate - Medium carb and body, smooth sweet malts, oily texture, quite sweet, tangy , nice gentle bitterness. Finish of bitter citrus hops and sweet fruity malts, tangy citrus tail, excellent well balanced palate
Overall -This bottle was really superb, tasted reallly fresh - it’s the 2nd best beer I’ve had so far from Hardknott below Vitesse Noire (Batch 1)
