22oz bomber from Herchick poured into a snifter. Thanks Bob! Pours a very dark ruby, almost brown with almost no head. Aroma is mostly whisky with a good dose of Christmas spice! Taste is light sweet. Cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and other winter spices along with dried apricot and pineapple...and of course whisky. Reminds me a lot of cold glogg, just the way my grandma used to make it. Medium bodied with a sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, awesome. I’m going to have to find a bottle of this around Christmas to share with the Swedish side of the family.

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark red-brown color with a medium sized orange-tan head that left some lacing. The aroma was strong cinnamon, nutmeg and candied ginger. The flavor was sweet cinnamon, nutmeg and candied ginger with a malty and nutty middle followed by more spice that fairly overwhelmed the taste buds. The finish was long nutty and spicy. Fairly full bodied. Solid.

Courtesy of markwise. Pours clear amber with thin tan head. The aroma has lots of winter like spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger running into caramel malts and maltiness. The taste is similar with lots of spices, caramel, some spicy maple and a mild level of boozy barrel notes. So so really as it doesn’t come together too well. It could be the spices don’t meld all that well with the base beer and barrel aging.
