Our latest batch in the rotating IPA series takes a trip to New Zealand to feature the beautiful hops grown there. Motueka, Rakau, and Nelson Sauvin are backed up by a light touch of Newzilla, a New Zealand hop blend. The grain bill is simple and light using pilsner, oats, and spelt malt. Hazy with aromas of over ripe mango, mandarin orange, pineapple, and pink guava. The flavors are a tidal wave of tangerine, white grape, lime, kiwi, mango, and lychee.

5 oz. pour on tap as part of flight at the brewery. Cloudy, dark yellow w/ring of head & nice lacing. Aroma is melon, mild sweet/tart pineapple, dank, bread. Taste is nonspecific fruit, cracker. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, dry, crisp finish. Lacks identity. Disappointing for what I was hoping was going to be a fantastic hop combination.
