Can (4/9/23) pour. It's an opaque black with nice sparkle, thin cap of fizzy head quickly fading to a ring and no lacing. Aroma is strong sweet roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, vanilla and lactose. Taste is strong sweet malt over lesser cocoa, vanilla, lactose and hint of cherry and alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium-to-full bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and dry, yeasty finish as taste. Overall, aroma is more complex and more balanced than the aroma. Alcohol mostly hidden well.
