Klare rötliche Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Intensiver Geruch nach Kirschen. Geschmacklich ebenso, säuerlich, leicht malzig. Hohe Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Catada en su tulipa. Color granate oscuro, rojo vivo al trasluz, espuma rosácea de muy buena retención. En el aroma se nota no solo los sempiternos matices de cereza, chupa chups, frutos rojos, etc de las afrutadas, sino la levadura la malta y todas las notas aromáticas de la Mc Chouffe que lleva 'escondida' detrás. En boca, como he dicho antes, ese "soporte" de McChouffe a mi personalmente me la eleva muchisimo. De esta cerveza leo mucha reseña que encuentra su dulzor excesivo, cosa de lo que discrepo, principalmente porque más que dulce es agridulce, y porque el grado de amargor que tiene de fondo la equilibra a mi ver de sobra. Sinceramente, debo reconocer que esta cerveza me encanta, la disfruto muchisimo y me pone bastante, a dia de hoy es mi preferida entre las "flavored"... Verigut cherrichuf!

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear red with a pink-tinged head. Aromas of cherry and light spice. Taste is cherry cheesecake and light spice again. Clean finish.

On tap at Brighton Bierhaus, pours a clear dark ruby red with a small pink head. Aroma brings out very strong cherry — but a bit cough drop-y and artificial. Flavour is much the same, with sweet pungent cherry that has too much of a cough drop and artificial character. No notice of any underlying Belgian yeast complexity and in no way reminiscent of La Chouffe. I don't get the high ratings. This is commercial crap.
