Perhaps you’ve heard of a single hop beer, where a brewer showcases the qualities of just one hop. Well this is something entirely different - a single hip beer - our tribute to our favorite hipster neighborhoods from across the globe. This super-exclusive, counter-culture pale ale is dedicated to ‘The Mish’ aka Mission District in San Francisco. It’s an homage to skinny jeans, tote-bags, fixie bikes with drop handlebars and Dolores Park. Sent to you lovingly 7,000 miles away from the beautiful island of Fano, Denmark. Cheers, hipsters!

Reviewed from notes. Thanks Brad for the free beer.
Bottle to becher glass.
Appearance: orangey/copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated gently to leave some light lace
Aroma: muted tropical to citrusy hops; light bready/biscuity malts
Flavor: copies the aromas to a sweet to bittersweet quality; finishes the same way
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness, but also some hop bitter assertiveness
Overall: I guess those hipsters love this beer. Eh, well, sorry if I don't see the hype.

Very hazy amber beer, big fluffy off white head. Explosive uncapping but no beer lost. Palate is smooth and a little soft, semi dry. Lagerish malt, a little grainy. Bitterish hops. Sharp peel. A little creamy malt underneath. Aftertaste is bitter green hops. Okay - a little too much grain.

Pours deep hazy gold into a tulip. Tan head tophats and recedes leaving gloppy lacing to form a meringue center. Tropical fruit and resin aromas. Pretty one-dimensional with sharp bitter earth grapefruit front to back and into the lasting pith finish.

12 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy vibrant orangey amber with a substantial beige head. Nose smells like a highly adjuncted pale lager, to be honest, with notes of corn. Flavour is much better thankfully, with highly bitter grassy dry hops and a biscuity malt backing. The astringency lingers on and on, with notes of dry grassy hops. Decent stuff.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours light amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of citrus. Med body. Flavor is citrus, floral with nice caramel backbone. Finishes hoppy and bitter. Very pleasing.

Slightly unclear amber yellow colour, off-white head. Aroma of malts, honey, lots of hops. Citrus, sweat, pine resin, floral notes, you name it. Quite bitter flavour, light sweet, very fruity. Quite dry. Bitter, fruity finish, hops, light honey sweetness.

33 cl bottle @ lusikka
Vertical with Global Hipster Ale, this was worse.
Aroma is rather stale with gooseberry bush, some ripe fruits and grainy malt typical go German lagers. Also hints of moldy cellar. Flavour is sweetish with resin, some grainy malt and moldy cellar. Not bad but I wonder if the bottle was ok?
