During his childhood days in India, before every big game, co-founder Naveen and his friends would get in a huddle and cheer "chak de", which means "go for it" or “let’s do it” in Hindi. Now, while facing the challenges that come up in daily life or brewery operations, Naveen often gets inspired by the good ole Chak De slogan. Plus, as an invigorating slogan close to the heart of Indians, we brewed this beer to commemorate India's Republic Day on January 26. Being born and brought up in India, this day has always been a very special one for Naveen.
'Chak De India' Double IPA is a pleasant, flowery, and citrusy brew with strong impressions of balsam pine, blueberry, peach, and mango.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
7 oz. draft at the brewery. It's an opaque dark yellow-light brown with thin cap of off-white head with decent lacing. Aroma is strong candied fruit. Taste matches aroma. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not complex and nondescript but strong and sweet. Decent.
