16 ounce can. Opaque black pour. Dense dark brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, banana and nuts. Flavor is roasted malt, warming alcohol, banana, toasted nuts and sweet vanilla. Complex and flavorful.

Can (3/4/21) pour from Valley Beverage, Sherman Oaks. It's an opaque black with no sparkle, finger-width light brown head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong brown banana, roasted earthy malt, hazelnuts (could be pecan) and milder vanilla. Taste follows aroma though less roasted malt. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with sticky texture, moderate esophageal alcohol warmth, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, all the adjuncts are represented even if banana dominates. Roasted malt lost in the flavor. A nice dessert sipper (and I hope a good prelude to a red-eye flight!).

From a can bought in Los Alamos, CA. Banana starts as the dominant aroma and flavor, and follows through with nuttiness. Pours black with brown highlights and brown head.
