Cask (handpump) @ 28th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2011, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, EnglandLight unclear medium brown amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, wheat, caramel, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, phenol yeast, fruity notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20111208]

Warning! Early amateur rating! A very dark wheat beer. None of the usual wheat fruit but lots of chocolate and caramel. Very smooth and very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours a clear brown colour with an off-white head. Malty fruity yeasty aroma. Sweet malty bitter and yeasty hoppy flavor. Fruity hoppy finish.
