Taster pour on tap at NH Brewers Festival. Appearance is lightly hazy light brown (like iced tea) with trace sparkle, ring of off-white head with very light leggy lacing. Aroma is strong whiskey and a vague malty backbone. Taste is strong whiskey with milder malts. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with some lingering bitterness. Overall, the whiskey is not unpleasant but is too dominant. The malts barely come through and basically serve as a scaffolding for the whiskey vs. a complement. Would be interested in trying with it aged longer. 3.6,
