Crush Groove has received a face-lift and an ABV boost. With enough hops to double dry-hop a DIPA, the citrus flavors bursts off of Crush Groove, Soul Purpose Brewing’s flagship IPA!

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: hazy orange color with a one finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: orangey and melon-like hoppiness; light clean malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine bittersweet juicy quality; finishes juicy, orangey and melon-like
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; smooth along the tongue, touch of dryness
Overall: not a bad session IPA, I could return to this.

Taster pour from can at Craft Brew Race, Worcester/can from Total Wine & More, Natick. Appearance is pale yellow (urine-like) with tons of sparkle, 2-finger width white foamy head; floaties from the can version. Aroma is sweet vegetal (maybe like a green bean?), fruity. Taste is pretty mild. Not much flavor here but has cracker and a dry, yeasty, nondescript sweet fruit--a bit like a green bean. Palate is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonation and nondescript, dry finish that's kind of cool, like a cucumber. Overall, flavor is fairly weak and lacks an identity. Over carbonated. This isn't a bad beer but I'd be hard pressed to recommend it to anyone since there's nothing really here worth seeking out.
