Draft taster pour at the brewery. Appearance is opaque black with no discernible sparkle, thin ring of off-white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is bourbon, dark fruits, roasted malts. Taste is as aroma with addition of coffee. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, frothy, texture with soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, rich and full-flavored. Bourbon fits in nicely. Very good.
