This seasonal specialty is brewed with loads of roasted and black patent malts, almost two gallons of VT maple syrup per barrel, then carefully aged on American Oak! Rich, creamy, opaque & deceivingly drinkable. Made for sub-zero nights.

On tap at Blackback Pub. HFS glass 45-50 F. 3 finger coffee head. Midnight black. Head fades slowly. Gorgeous lacing. Smells like cocoa beans and vanilla. Caramel and burnt sugar. Taste is big roasted malts. Chocolate malts. A hint of smoked malts. Coffee and an interesting kiwi or pineapple note along with toasty finish. Heavy body. Medium carbonation
