Mother Kelly’s. Keg. Opaque black - brown beer, small dark tan head. Palate is smooth and viscous. Reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth rich malts, some dark malt character and a little dark chocolate. I keep wanting to say Rum & Raisan but I guess this is really Cognac & Raisan! Vague savoury note. Little spice. Finishes smooth with more mellow cognac and some ripe fruits. A rich brew but it goes down easy like.
