Cask (gravity) @ 28th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2011, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, EnglandClear medium to dark red brown color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, chocolate, dark fruit, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, woody, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20111207]

Cask gravity at Pigs Ear 2011. London brewing company bull highgate galina red 4.5% deepish red. Thin rim of white bubbles. Its not great to be honest. Not much better than home brew. Malts and hops a bit all over the place. Some red fruit. 2.2/5

Cask@Pigs Ear Beer Festival 2011. Very deep amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, some syrup, mild wood and chocolate. Flavour is some sour wooden notes, raisins, sap, syrup and some slight bitterness. A bit on the sweeter side of bitters.
