Full on citrus rush with fruit overtones and the warmth of ancient Armagnac.

Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival, KEGS. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small bubbly white head. Palate is light and dry and crisp. Light smooth malt. Little floralness. Marmalade - grapefruit and orange. Mild to medium bitterness. Light dry finish. Mmm - more Imperial Golden than Barleywine! Nice though!
