Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Pours an opaque black with a thick and rich beige head leaving quite some laces. Roasty, liquorish aroma. Medium body, roast and alcohol with some dark dried fruit. Dry and bitter finish. Never very IPA’ish though. 071112

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is chocolate and toasted malt. Light alcohol presence. Toffee malty and light breadish. Dry roasted malty, breadish, light liqourice and dark malty finish.

Mörkt, mörkt brun med beige skum. Fina välrostade toner av milt kaffe, choklad, toffee, torkad mörk frukt, söt tobak, aningen rök, citrusmarmelad, ja listan kan göras lång. Mycket fin doft. Smaken är lite enkelspårigare, men rund och lätt, fruktig, sötlarits, inte särskilt besk, snarare lite aska i eftersmaken. En riktigt finstämt humlad porter.

355 ml bottle from Systembolaget in Mölndal, Sweden.BB 2013.05.31, sampled on September 18, 2012Color might be very dark brown, but mainly comes out black. Medium sized a bit fluffy tan head. Sweet, chocolate, roasted, salty, sort of lactic scent. Sweet, salty, dry, mineral, wet pebbles, roasted, coffee taste. Coffee, roasted, chocolate, dry, bitter aftertaste. Spritzy mouthfeel. Dry fairly high bitterness.

355ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Roasted malt, liquorice, plain chocolate and a hint of pine in the aroma. Roasted and chocolatey taste with notes of liquorice and roasted malt. Not as hoppy as I was expecting it to be.

355 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours clear pale brown with a small brownish gray head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace. Smell is sweet, slightly malty, slightly fruity and almost artificial with toasted malts, milk chocolate, plums, vanilla, persimmon, apricot jam sweet dark bread, golden syrup, dusty oatmeal flakes, banana bread and apple jam. Taste is tiny sweet and bitter with roasted malts, oatmeal, milk chocolate, straw, dry wood, pine, watery american coffee, apple jam, grapefruit peal, salty liquorice and old dark bread. Mouthfeel is watery, tiny round, tiny astringent and lightly bodied. Finish is bitter and tiny sour with roasted malts, grapefruit peal, straw, ammonium chloride,msoil, mineral and coffee. Taste is ok but I’m not impressed...
