Colour: Amber red. Lightish coloured mild with plenty of toffee, crème brulee and caramel on the nose underlain with a slight hint of herbal hoppiness ; as it develops in the glass Demarera sugar can also be discerned. On the palette there's more malt, nuts (hazel nuts), a hint of chocolate and a whisper of hop fruitiness. It's a very chewy characterful beer with a dry, malty finish with some bitterness and a hint of chocolate re-emerging.

@ Griffin, Frome. Golden-straw colour. Earthy hop aroma with lemony accents and lots of fresh farm (poop). Very bitter body, with earthy notes, hints of mushrooms and cheshire cheese. Maybe some hay in there as well. Complex, tasty session bi
