Roasty toasty flavours from the dark malts dominate this dry stout, but the English and American hops provide floral and fruity notes which round out the flavours. Definitely one for the lovers of strong dark beers

Cask at the Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. Shared with Keen. Hazy brown beer. Pale tan suddy head. Light dry palate, smooth. A touch of the dreaded egg in this otherwise reasonably well balanced beer. Toffee malt and ok dried fruit hops. Dry finish.
