Smooth milk stout aged in ex coconut cannon bourbon barrels with fresh Scottish raspberries. Rich chocolate notes blend with tart raspberry and finish with the creamy luscious mouth feel of the milk sugar. Topped of with bourbon and oak notes from the barrel aging.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours jet black with a sturdy deep tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, nutty, charred oak, boozey waft, bourbon soaked oak, fresh raspberry, jammy, tangy, toasted coconut, macaroons and cocoa. The taste is crisp, dry, tart raspberry, bitter - sweet, jammy, tangy, gummy candy, chocolate cake, touch of bourbon, chocolate bourbons, dull alcohol, victoria sponge cake, toasted coconut, macaroons and dull charred oak. Medium+ body and fine, prickly carbonation. Fun stuff. Not heavy, but quite bright. The raspberry works well.
