Cask (handpump) @ The 18th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2011, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, nutty, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Plastic litre carry-out from the brewery shop. Deep copper brown with no head; earthy caramel aroma; thin body with earthy malt flavours; and a light bitterness before a dry caramel finish. Very drinkable.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Pale copper colour, small off-white head. Aroma is rather bready, mild earthy notes as well as some wooden notes. Flavour is wood, bread, mild spruce and some mild meaty notes.
