Cask at the Reading Beer Festival 2012. Pours clear brown with a foamy, light tan head. Lovely vanilla aroma with notes of milk chocolate, brownies, light roast. Light to medium sweet flavor with rich chocolate, some booze, earth, a bit of char. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mild warmth to finish, some rich and almost burnt toast, burnt grass, dark chocolate, smooth vanilla. Lasting dark earth. Very smooth overall. Quite lovely and balanced.
