Poured from a 16 oz can dated January 10, 2025.
Aroma is hop forward and oily and dank. Lots of fusel oils and resin from the cryo with notes of grapefruit and pine. Lighter notes of passion fruit and stone fruit. Light cracker malt and alcohol notes.
Pours a fairly clear, yellow gold color with a large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes slowly to the edges where it lingers in clumps. Medium high lacing and small legs.
Flavor is slightly sweet with medium light cracker malt notes. Fairly high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong hop flavors with grapefruit and orange as well as lighter notes of passion fruit and stone fruit. Quite a bit of dank resin and pine but les than in the aroma.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid West Coast IPA. Really dank, especially in the aroma with a solid bitterness that lingers nicely. Fruity notes develop as you adjust to the dankness and bitterness. Alcohol is well balanced and it's not too sweet.
