Can in the lodge. Pours deep reddish brown, nose is roasted, chocolate, some pineapple from the sabro hops, taste is similar, chewy.

Can from Drinkmonger Pitlochry. It pours near black with a decent khaki head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, chocolate cake, coffee, but also tropical sabro, pineapple, Pina colada and mars bar. The taste is dry, rich roasted malt, light charred vibes, coffee, chocolate, umami, cacao, tropical fruits, Pina colada, mango and a touch of something herbal with a drying, roasted finish. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Interesting combo. Maybe would have been better with a touch more body, but it's fun anyhow.
