Cask at Fountain, Macclesfield (not yet listed on RB). Pours a pale straw with a small foamy almost white head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma – just vague hints of floral hops and citrus. In the mouth it is sweet and fruity with a creamy texture but also some underlying bitterness which gradually increases. There’s plenty of floral hops alongside hints of tropical fruits, butter and lemongrass. Finish is quite bitter. It’s reasonable.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 7/3/2017. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Aroma of stone fruits and a touch of citrus hops. Flavour had a touch more sweetish fruit and biscuity malts, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Half, cask ale at Crown Inn. Clear golden body. Tiny white head leaving lacing rings down the glass. Dusty hops with citric hints on the nose. Grass hoppy flavours together with moments of pale malts and citrus followed by a dry bitterness to the ending. Fair enough (Stockport 03.02.2015).

Bottle. Brewtique, Macclesfield. Clear gold. Bubbly, bright white head. Sweet grainy malts. Bit of pineapple. Green hop. A bit buttery. Taste is sweet. Some dry. Some bitter. Crisp palate. Bit oily. Finishes light bitter. Some zestiness. Ok. More buttery than you might want.

Cask (handpump) @ NWAF 2012, National Winter Ales Festival, The Venue, Sheridan Suite, Manchester, England.Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, lime, soap. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120118]
