Bottle at home. Pours deep ruby, nose is caramel, toffee, meaty, fudge, taste is similar, sweet, chewy.

Bottle on the Lidl Booze Bargain area. The aroma is rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, chocolate gateaux, toffee, honeycomb, touch of umami, light liquorice, light smoke, lovely depth of whisky and whisky soaked oak. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, rich roasted, dark chocolate, gateaux, choc chip cookies, touch of vanilla, cake frosting, liquorice, umami, touch of spice, light tannin, dark fruits, fruit cake, tar and light alcohol with a toothy, toasty finish. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and toothy finish. Not big and showy, but rounded and flavourful. Super drinkable.

330ml bottle from Lidl. Dark brown with an of white head. Roasted malt aroma, flavour is coffee, chocolate, toffee, creamy mouth feel. Not the most exciting but decent enough
