Bottle from Inoteca Regionale, Alberobello Trulli district. Thought this was an IPA, not a CDA. Apologies London Crew. Opaque dark brown beer, big pale tan head. Nice earthy malt and fresh pine nose. Palate is airy, pretty dry and has reasonable carbonation. Thin dark malts bring loadsa flavour. Thin but tangy malt cream, a little earthy coffee. Very mild roast that is mildly bitter. A little ripe fruit more than offset by loadsa fresh pine. Touch of citrus. Finishes light, dry and piney. Bitter roasty linger. Good CDA.

bbe 7/17 scura schiuma piuttosto abbondante buona persistenza naso tostato resinoso secca buone tosture piuttosto amara manca un po di aroma

Bottiglia @ Milano Beer Week. L’efficacia olfattiva è elevata e la costanza olfattiva ragguardevole. Il cappello di schiuma è compatto, cremoso e si fa ricordare per i merletti sul vetro, a bollicine fini con carbonazione abbondante. Il liquido appare di colore ebano scuro, quasi nero. Il corpo è strutturato. L’aroma alla lingua è mediamente dolce mentre l’amaro è carico, con accenno di umami. La persistenza gustativa è buona e il gusto piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di amaro. Il finale è lungo e complesso. Il retrogusto è persistente.
