Maldon Beer Fest, Cask. Opaque black - brown beer, residual tan head. Silky palate, slightly viscous. Soft rich dark malts, some dark chocolate underneath kept company by touches of treacle and molasses. Spice. Tangy smooth dark fruits. Smooth dark malt cream. Smooth finish. Pretty drinkable for the abv.
