The flavours in this rich and satisfying pint are similar to those found in Polly's Folly, but have extra depth combined with added caramel notes.
For Norwegian Blue 4.9 abv, the same quality Marris Otter malts are used, whilst the wort is flavoured with premium American Mounthood hops..
English Fuggles and Goldings hops provide the balancing bitterness in this malty complex best bitter.

Cask/GBBF. Amber with a small but lasting off-white head. Grassy aroma with cabbage notes. Dry and quite bitter. The aroma is reeally a turn-off. I love the name though. Makes me pine for the fiords.

Cask gravity at Kent BF 2006. Crystal clear amber colour with thin white head. Malty aroma with some hop, some grapefruit. Fullish and juicy in mouth. Good bitter flavour and hop on end. Competent ESB with good malt/hop balance. Bit of alcohol heat.
