Cask (gravity) @ 28th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2011, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, EnglandClear dark black brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20111206]

Cask at Pig’s Ear Beer Festival, London. Black. Coffee aroma. Light bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. Roasty with freshly ground coffee, notes of tobacco. Salty bitter finish. Attractive and nicely drinkable.

Cask@Pigs Ear Beer Festival 2011. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, liquorice, some mild coffee, chocolate as well as mild herbal notes. Flavour is roasted malts, liquorice, caramel malts, toffee and some slight bittery notes in the finish.
