Cask, half pint at Rook and Gaskill. Good looking bright golden-brown coloured body. Spotty lacing from a film-type layer. Quite powerful aroma of caramel malts, slightly roasted. Brittle caramel malty taste balanced by herbal hops. Malt bittersweet finish. Likable (York, 26.01.2013).

On gravity at the Volunteer, Bristol 30/6/2012. Copper coloured with an off-white head. Sweet, caramel and citrus fruit aroma. Flavour had more sweet malts, with a hint of marmalade and short, bitter finish. Fine.
