Bottle from mixmasterob. Thanks! Pours hazy ruddy brown. Nice against the sun. Aroma is oaky and vinous!! Full bodied. Flavor is oaky, a little bourbon, but there’s a little bit of grape. Finishes fairly balanced. Oak bitter finish. Nicely done.

This beer is a cloudy reddish-brown color with a medium light tan head that diminishes slowly. Small patches of lacing. The aroma consists of bourbon, malt and vanilla. Full-bodied with an oaky bourbon character and notes of vanilla, malt and dark fruit. The finish is moderately boozy with a lingering woody aftertaste. Above average overall.

Bottled. A red brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, malt, and caramel: The flavor is sweet with notes of candy sugar, malt, alcohol, and over ripe fruits, leading to sweet finish. The body is light. Thanks pinball for sharing.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy nutty brown with a beige head. Sweet Bourbon aroma combined with burned caramel. Fairly rich body, solid burned caramel - think a Scotch Ale - and again heavy wood and Bourbon. Rather hot finish. 230512

12oz bottle shared by Doug, thanks
Appearance: Clear dark mahogany with a medium sized beige head and good lacing
Aroma: Toasted malts and sweet bourbon
Taste: Toasted malts, bourbon, vanilla and sweet caramel
Very nice, if you like Jack Daniels this beer is for you, not overly boozy but you know it’s there. Well balanced and tasty.

12oz bottle pours deep amber with red ruby edges and thin tan head. The aroma has an expected bold barrel component with sweet bourbon, some wood and vanilla. I get really no beer in there. The taste is nice with smooth bourbon, some sweet vanilla, slivers of wood and then flowing into some chocolate and a mild level of nuttiness, oh and an even lighter note of roasted malts. The barrel has swallowed up the aroma whole but has merely accented the flavor.
